    Subsidy & DISCOM filing Day 10-25

    We submit your PM Surya Ghar application (solar component) and net-metering forms to your DISCOM in parallel with installation.

    Installation & load wiring Day 25-40

    Certified crew installs panels, inverter and battery bank, segregates critical-load circuits and configures auto changeover. 5–10 days for homes, 14–21 for commercial.

    Commissioning & battery calibration day 40-60+

    Full charge-discharge cycle to calibrate battery management, app onboarding, and DISCOM meter swap. Subsidy lands. Ongoing AMC begins.

Depends on battery size vs. load. A typical 5 kWh LFP battery runs critical loads (lights, fans, fridge, router, TV) for 6–10 hours. We size from your actual outage duration — if you average 3 hours of cuts, we won't sell you a 12-hour battery.
We install Lithium LFP by default — 10-year warranty, 6,000+ cycles, fits in a small wall-mounted box, no maintenance. Lead-acid is cheaper upfront but lasts 3–5 years, needs ventilation and water top-up. Over 10 years, lithium is meaningfully cheaper.
Yes. We retrofit existing rooftop systems with an AC-coupled or DC-coupled battery + hybrid inverter, depending on your current inverter. The economics work best if your inverter is <5 years old. Free site assessment will tell you which retrofit path fits.
The solar component qualifies — you get the same central subsidy (up to ₹78,000) as a standard rooftop system. The battery isn't currently subsidised but qualifies for accelerated depreciation if you're a business. We file all eligible claims for you.
Lithium LFP batteries last 10–12 years (6,000+ deep cycles) at 80%+ capacity. Most users replace once during the panel's 25-year life. Battery technology is also getting cheaper every year — by replacement time, you'll likely pay 40–60% less for double the capacity.
Hybrid wins almost every time. A 5 kVA diesel genset costs ₹1.5–2 lakh and burns ₹15–25/hour in fuel. A hybrid system pays for itself in 4–6 years through bill savings alone — and gives you silent, automatic backup with zero fuel cost.
